I bought my first camera on September 4th, 2007: a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi (which I still own). Before that I only shot sporadically using anyone else's cameras. Why I suddenly decided to start taking photos is still a mystery, even to me! But since that day I've been shooting steadily and learning a lot, though I don't consider myself a Pro, specially at the artistic side of the photography.

What do I shoot?

I don't do artistic photography, so most of my work is kind of "photojournalistic". I cover mostly events, landmark and "product" photography, and sometimes do scenery and wildlife shooting.

My Gear

I only have a ver basic setup:

• Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi (400D).
• Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II Lens.
• Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens.
• Canon Tripod, Canon Cabled Remote, and a handy Canon SidePack to put it all.

Yeah, a Canon guy. I found this setup works for most situations, except with dim light. Perhaps I'll get some f/2.8 gear in the future.
